Greensborough private garden Victoria Australia
Built by AQL / Designed by Stem landscape architecture.
A Japanese inspired garden with an Australian flair.
This garden was an uninteresting backyard with a few trees and shrubs and a couchy grass lawn. Which has now been transformed into to a water garden oasis complete with Japanese tea house over hanging a water cascading Australian billabong. Complete with aquatic plants ,fish and ornamental sculptures the garden has transverse into its only little eco system.
Decorative bamboo screen panels create the back drop to a mix of exotic and Australian plants. The outdoor shower is a cool and reviltizing element within the space. A mix of natural stone and timber compliments the planting and built elements. The dark green/maroon foliage of the espaliered forest pansy tree contrast with the lime green leaves of the Japanese maple tree. Relax on the teahouse deck and enjoy the soothing sound of running water.
