The Wandong war memorial is set within the Wandong Heathcote junction war memorial gardens Victoria Australia.
Recognizing and honouring the Australian diggers from the Boer war, world war 1, world war 2 and peacekeepers. Leslie Cecil Maygar, VC, DSO, VD is also honoured on the war memorial being one of Australia Victoria cross recipients.
The three angulated glass art panels emanant a powerful story for those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for the country and who serviced their country.
A poem for the fallen by Laurence Binyon provides a personal touch to those affected by war.
The imagery within the glass panels is punctuated by the wraparound of the vibrant colours of the Australian flag.
